Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Technology Conducts Courtesy Visit to Washington University of Health and Sciences
On Friday, May 28th, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Technology conducted a courtesy visit to Washington University of Health and Sciences. This visit which was organized by Dr. Yvonne Palma, Director of Tertiary and Post Secondary Institutions and two other ministry representatives, is just one of many visits according to Dr. Palma. The agenda started with an introductory meeting which was chaired by Dr. Renae Reasa, WUHS’ Academic Dean, discussing the university’s operations,future plans of the university and outlining the accreditation process. A complete tour of the facility was given and ministry representatives along with Dr. Palma were impressed with the facility’s appearance. Dr. Renae expressed sincere gratitude for the visit on behalf of the President, Dr. Malik Soudah and Vice President, Ms. Peggy Allen, saying that “ It was a pleasure welcoming Dr. Palma and other representatives from the Ministry, we look forward to a fruitful working relationship.” Even with the challenges the Pandemic brings, Washington University of Health and Sciences continues to conduct lectures through distant learning platforms.
